The sabino coat colour shows a pattern of white spots of different sizes on the face, legs and belly of the heterozygous horse. The homozygous horse is almost completely white.

The pearl coat colour is a dilution of the coat, mane and tail. Pearl dilution is often confused with champagne dilution. This mutation is also called Barlink Factor in quarter horses.
